Remedial Saddle Fitting

£125 per session

Remedial saddle fitting bridges the gap between saddle fit and physiotherapy. It is used in horses recovering from injury, those with muscle imbalance, atrophy, asymmetry, or ongoing comfort and performance issues undersaddle.

What to expect from a session

In this session, we firstly perform a physiotherapy assessment, and then thoroughly assess your tack fit and its relation to your horse.

We also assess suitability of saddle pad and girth fit. Adjustments such as width changes (both gulleted and saddle press) and flocking can be performed on site.

Is this suitable for my horse?

If your horse is suffering from:

  • Back pain or discomfort

  • Muscle loss or poor topline development

  • Difficulty building muscle despite regular ridden work

  • Reduced performance

  • Saddle fit concerns or uncertainty about current tack fit

  • Ongoing asymmetry, stiffness, or muscular tension

Then this session could be the ideal solution for you.
