Prior to treatment, we will make contact with your vet to gain consent and we will discuss your horse's treatment plan throughout the rehabilitation process.

Consent is required by law in the 1966 Veterinary Surgeons Act by your horse's registered veterinarian in cases of injury or horses under current veterinary supervision.

Equine Physiotherapy

A typical session includes a full orthopaedic and neurological assessment. We will evaluate your horses movement, and perform testing on  muscles, joints, ligaments and tendons. Hoof health and balance will also be assessed.

Treatment will be targeted to assessment findings and pre-existing conditions. The owner will be provided with a report and therapeutic exercises for the horse post treatment. Other veterinary professionals involved with your horses health (farrier, vet etc) may also be contacted.

Remedial Saddle Fitting

Physiotherapy for dogs is an effective tool in the management of orthopaedic conditions such as elbow/hip dysplasia, neurological conditions such as lumbosacral disease, or in injury scenarios, whether pre/post operative or in conservative management. Physiotherapy can also give a well needed 'boost' for our golden oldies, keeping them mobile and pain free.

All dogs are treated through the Wobbly Dog Referrals clinic, we can offer physiotherapy and underwater treadmill hydrotherapy.
